01 / PROJECT OVERVIEW

About OUTATIDE

I designed a custom, continuously rigged three-stage elevator with a vacuum end effector for picking up game pieces. A turret mechanism worked with the elevator to deposit coral.

02 / CLIMBER

A custom cage climber

I also built a fully custom climber. Two manually milled plates house a pair of NEO v1.1 motors, which drive a linear screw mechanism. The screw extends a spring-actuated climber that grabs the inside of the cage and lifts the roughly 135-pound robot.
